Hello, I’m Juli. I’m a suburbanite in denial, photographer, cook, cyclist, yogi, barefoot runner, vegetable gardener, avid reader, lover of wine, cocktails and craft beer, and grammar nerd. I have a cat named Bowie and a dog named Zoe. As far as work goes, I’m one of those people who’ve found what they love, and are lucky enough to get paid to do it: I write.

My little corner of the Internet started out as a food blog a couple years ago. When I had the time, I’d get busy in the kitchen, take some photos, then the next day do all the photo processing and write my story. Eventually I started chastising myself for never updating my blog. I didn’t have time to do all the necessary steps all the time, it seemed. But as the days go by, I’m finding that I have so much more to share than words and photos about the things I create in my kitchen.  Life changes and you change along with it.
